Morgan Cherry Announced as Lawyers Weekly 30-Under-30 Finalist

Morgan Cherry, one of Osborn Law’s talented Property and Commercial Solicitors, has been announced as a finalist for the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards.

Each year, Lawyers Weekly shines a light on the rising stars, at the age of 30 and under, recognising their tremendous efforts from the start of their careers.

Osborn Law is proud to have such a strong candidate for the award in Morgan as he constantly demonstrates enthusiasm and excellence throughout his work.

The 30 Under 30 awards offer finalists and winners a foundation for career progression and industry wide recognition.

Morgan says he is looking forward to the black-tie awards ceremony on 3 June at The Star in Sydney.

“I am proud to be recognised as one of the best young lawyers in Australia and to be given industry-wide recognition for professional competency as well as my passion for the law and dedication to personal development,”

“My nomination is also a testament to the calibre of clients and high quality of work we do at Osborn Law. We are incredibly fortunate to work with the best clients and I personally would like to thank them for their continued support and trust.”

When asked about why he was nominated he believes it’s the practical approach to legal problems which gives him and Osborn Law an edge.

“Aside from my technical expertise, I like to think my point of difference is my pragmatic and ‘no fuss’ approach to property transactions. I like to let deals happen rather than get in the way of making them happen,”

“I enjoy providing a wholistic, ‘cradle to grave’ service for my clients by advising them on all aspects of developments from project inception, tilting structuring, acquisition, completion and beyond.”

Morgan says he is also interested in developing new approaches to old and stagnated methods in the practice.

“I am passionate about pioneering new and smarter ways of practicing law, particularly in light of the transition to electronic and paperless lodgement / conveyancing.”

Lawyers weekly says achieving 30 Under 30 status offers finalists and winners the foundation for career progression, with industry-wide recognition for professional competency all while highlighting a passion for the law and a great dedication for personal advancement.

Solicitor Director, Christie Howson says, “he is the perfect candidate for this award due to his dedication to his work and his clients,”

“Morgan deserves this nomination and the whole Osborn Law team is looking forward to the awards ceremony with fingers crossed.”
