Osborn Law promotes new Senior Associate
Osborn Law has appointed Property and Commercial Lawyer, Morgan Cherry, as Senior Associate to the firm.
Morgan’s promotion was announced at the recent end of financial year dinner, where the team were able to celebrate the occasion.
Director, Christie Howson, said “This appointment is a credit to Morgan’s hard work, dedication to clients and continued excellence. He is a great example of someone who lives the Osborn Law values and has a strong work ethic, which shows in his interactions with clients and the team as a whole.”
Morgan has assisted clients in a range of areas including drafting, advising and negotiating commercial agreements; business and personal structuring; acquisitions and disposals of land, infrastructure and entities; leasing for both landlords and tenants of commercial, retail, industrial and hotel premises; and property projects including land subdivisions, strata and community title developments.
Morgan’s dedication to providing a thorough “In It Together” approach or ‘cradle to grave’ (as he likes to put it) service to his clients is a key characteristic which makes him stand out from many others in the industry. He is determined to ensure his advice is practical and that he is providing solutions to problems, rather than focusing on stumbling blocks.
This dedication to client service was recognised at the recent Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards at which Morgan received the Real Estate/Property Law Award.
“Morgan’s recent win and industry-wide recognition is a testament to both his knowledge and skills as well as the calibre of clients and high quality work we do at Osborn Law,” Christie said.
Morgan said it has been a very exciting and big year and he is looking forward to what is yet to come.
“I am honoured to join Tim, Christie and the rest of the management team to assist in leading and developing our awesome team at Osborn Law.
I am also looking forward to continuing to work with the team in looking at new and smarter ways of practicing law, particularly in the property area in light of the transition to electronic and paperless lodgement / conveyancing.”
Christie agreed commenting,” I’m excited to see Morgan step up as a leader within the business and go from strength to strength.”
